As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Northeast Pennsylvania Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Northeast Pennsylvania Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Understanding Addiction

Understanding Addiction & Substance Abuse Recovery

Northeast Pennsylvania Comprehensive Treatment Centers offer therapeutic services as a method of complementing the effective and safe medication we provide to those who seek us out for care. To offer our patients the very best chance in overcoming opioid dependency, we feel it is imperative to help them understand the emotional and psychological causes behind their opioid abuse. When individuals only obtain care that focuses on the physical symptoms of their addictions, they put themselves at greater risk of relapsing. At Northeast Pennsylvania Comprehensive Treatment Centers, we work to provide our patients with the skills and medication designed to help them put an end to their opioid abuse and regain control of their lives.

Medically Assisted Treatment

Medically Assisted Treatment for Opioid Abuse

When an individual begins abusing substances, such as heroin or prescription pain medications, he or she often does so as a means of escaping from psychological upset. If turmoil continues on in an individual’s life, he or she is more likely to continue their destructive substance-using behaviors. Northeast Pennsylvania Comprehensive Treatment Centers recognizes that most of our patients have been impacted by emotional turmoil that has contributed to their opioid abuse, and we are ready to help each one of them work through their trauma and begin living healthier lifestyles. The types of therapies that we supply to help our patients achieve this success include:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy

Our counselors are trained in helping those grappling with opioid addictions and lead the above listed therapy sessions with the utmost compassion. The frequency of individual and group therapy sessions will be determined based on the patient’s needs, as the care we provide at both of our centers is individualized. We fully believe that including individual and group therapy into our patients’ recovery journeys will supply them with the skills and confidence needed to begin a life that is free from heroin or painkiller abuse.
